Origin: 90s English phrase – Many 90s kids used this phrase to say someone who is basically a copycat.

This phrase was popular back in the 90s when school-going kids often used this phrase to spite someone who always copied their actions or to say someone that had no idea of his/her own and just simply followed the crowd.

Ah Lian: “Ah Huay , later recess time go canteen eat simi ah?? I thinking of eating Mee Siam and drink Milo leh”

Ah Huay: “Hmm..I don’t know leh…think I follow you bah….”

Ah Lian: “Huh?! You wanna copy me ah?? So boring lah you..”

Ah Huay: “Aiya we are sisters mah…oh yeah I wanna buy the same pencil-case that you are using, where did you get it ah?”

Ah Lian: “What?! You serious boh….everything also wanna same same ah. ..You copycat kiss the rat , go home let your mother slap lah…aiyo…..buay tahan
